A good friend to make you smile....

I just got off the phone with a good friend who is currently living in China. She was my neighbor, prayer partner and mentor when my boys were babies.... :-) I haven't actually spoken to her by phone in almost a year, as we usually communicate via email. So, what an awesome surprise to hear her voice on the telephone! We yaked for several hours broaching numerous subjects. Ie: hair color and highlights, cooking, saving money, children, adoption, school, family (both immediate and extended), jobs, prayer requests and much more.... we laughed and shared for over two hours! It just brought a smile to my face tonight realizing that no matter the physical distance between us, the friendship that God blessed us with, remains the same.
