We announced to our Sunday school class two weeks ago that we were having a yard sale to help to defer the costs of our adoption. I am just humbled and awed by the generosity of people. I had two people that Sunday come up to me to say that they have a truckload of things to drop off for the yard sale. A third stopped me after church to say they had some bikes to donate....The next Sunday I had someone offer a piano for the sale. A piano!
This week another friend called and said they also have a truckload to drop off... which included a stove and a microwave. They will be dropping it all off tomorrow afternoon. Shortly afterward, I had a friend email me to say she would love to come and help man the tables the day of the sale.
I'm so touched by each of these folks generosity, not only with items they have donated, but with their willingness to give of their time to help. I really don't know that words can capture how awed, humbled and grateful we are....

I think I know how you feel. Maybe not to that extent. But, I had a friend this past week that was very generous to my family and I. They opened up their home to us and brought us in and helped us when we needed it. I was humbled by their generosity.God will use people he sees fit. I know that God will bless them for that!;)
You are going to have quite the yard sale! That is absolutely awesome!! How wonderful that so many people are helping - it's amazing how kind people can be, isn't it??
Oh my gosh - it sounds like it is going to be the biggest yard sale there ever was. Wish I could come!
That is so nice of your church..
I told ya I would help. Just let me know times etc.
Also if you need any help before I know my kids keep talking about playing with your boys.
