Braves Game

Last night we had the opportunity to go to a Braves game in Atlanta. (Becky I thought of you soooo many times, wishing I could contact you and tell you to bring Andrew to the game!) When we got there we were wondering what was up, as usually flashing police cars are directing traffic on the streets. Yesterday there were hardly any vehicles with flashing lights, and traffic itself was really light! I told Chris to check the tickets to make sure we actually had the right night of the game! (We did!)

We got there and the weather was just beautiful. Unfortunately the game was not. Apparently the Braves played a double header that day and we were witnessing the second half of the double header. They lost the first to the Cubs 10-2. The second was not much better.... 8-0!!! Zero!

This is what I noticed though... it could have been Wrigley field for as many Cubs fans as there were. I think they seriously outnumbered the Braves fans! I mean they could have started a wave and had plenty of people all around the stadium. Our entire section was 2-1 Cubs fans. Our team was losing so badly, that there wasn't much to cheer about. Thankfully Chris took the boys to run in a kids track area... so watching the game was less painful!

We got home after midnight, and had homeschool and drs appointments this morning. The doctor's visit was for our home study report. The boys part is now complete! Yeah!! We meet with our social worker tomorrow and have a stack of paperwork to give her. It's the by-product of all our hard work this past week!
