Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! It seems that in Russia, Christmas is like any other day. At 7am we had a visit from the Doctor of the International Clinic. More paperwork to be filled out, and today a meeting somewhere for Chris with even more paperwork.

We did manage to celebrate Christmas as a family after the doctor left. Ds3 ate his breakfast sooo well of two eggs and then some, 2 pieces of bread and a 1/2 a banana. Lots of milk too! Then after some coffee for mom and dad, we all ended up in the living room to open presents. Ds3 really had no idea what was going on ...... I'm sure he has never really opened presents before. One of his presents, was a little See and Say that sings old MacDonald and has all kinds of farm animals and their sounds.

Here are some photos of our small tree that I packed for the occasion with all our presents on the kitchen table. We lit the tree last evening after all the kids were asleep, and I smelled a burning smoke smell. I think the voltage on our adapter might have been too strong, or something because I unplugged the tree right away. The lights were incredibly hot! We lit it again for 5 seconds this morning, just so everyone could see the tree lit up. Oh well.... who knew? It was still nice to have a Christmas tree!

This is a photo of Chris and all his boys in their new hockey jerseys. (his presents to himself and all his boys!) As you can see ds3 was not up for pictures! More like, "why am I in this incredibly oversized hockey jersey?"
