This dear woman left a comment on our blog concerning our little guy in Russia. I am so glad that she tracked me down, as it really encouraged me today! Read on:
My husband and I are on trip one. Without sounding creepy, there are a number of adoption blogs I've been following to get a sense of the process and other peoples' experiences. Yours is obviously one of them.
During a visit with our little boy yesterday afternoon, we ventured into his group room to watch him play with the other children. While there, I spied a cute little boy holding onto his photo album and recognized your photo on the cover from "one of those blogs I read!" It has taken me a moment to track you down, but I'm glad I have and wanted to share a quick note with you.
Your little guy is sweet, was smiling and holding tight to the cloth photo album. Our boy tried to get him to share the album but your little guy pulled back and you could feel him saying, "No way! This is MINE! Get your own!!" My husband and I giggled because we had showed our little boy his album earlier and he loved it. He caressed it and kissed it and held it tightly to his little chest, as if he was thinking, "I'm finally getting my own little book. This means I'm going to be free soon." We were touched. The children all seem to be cared for considering the resource limitations the orphanage and caregivers have to deal with.
I hope this update finds you well and lends a little comfort to you through the wait. Best wishes to you!

Oh Jackie, how neat is that! I am so glad she found you so she could share that story. How Awesome!
That's amazing and made me tear up here at work!! I can only imagine the smile you are wearing today!
Wow! That is so sweet. What wonderful confirmation that God is watching over your little one.
That is so very sweet! How wonderful that this person found you to share.
What a blessing to be reached by this family. I'm sure this made your day. I can just imagine your son holding on to his photo book for dear life. I'll tell you that our daughter had hers and looked through it all the time during our time in Russia. She loved it and you could tell that she got to look at it often. It is probably one of the first things that is theirs! Our daughter still pulls hers out on occassion and still talks about the pictures showing us that we are indeed her mommy and daddy!!
What wonderful news!!
That brought tears to my eyes! I can't wait for this month to pass quickly for you!
Oh, Jackie, how wonderful! I pray that God blesses this woman for taking the time to track you down and bless you.
And, I'm so glad to read the other comments and see that I'm not the only one reading this with tears in my eyes.
God is so good!
I am crying tears of joy. How sweet that you have touched this little boys life so much already.
I pray that he will be in your arms soon.
That is so great that this woman took the extra effort and time to let you know she saw your son. How great!

That's wonderful and amazing! I'm sure your heart is warmed knowing that your little guy is thinking of you and God is watching over him! What a great story! Definitely something to journal about in his baby book!
How wonderful to get an update on your boy!!
OH Jackie! That is so sweet and nice. How great that that lady tracked you down and left you a message. Wow. God is so good.
I needed a warm story today.
how awesome is that?
That is so great the writer was able to see your son and I know it warmed your heart! We were blessed by photos of our kids by another traveling family during our five month wait. I think adoptive parents would pay to have a monthly update on "their" child if they would just allow it. God Bless -
What a heart-warming story. I'm so glad you shared that with us.
