Well, we flew... so who knows. But we met both little ones at two separate orphanages on Tuesday. It was a completely full day and also quite emotionally challenging. We requested that a physician meet us at both orphanages to evaluate the children. I don't know how people do it, but making life changing decisions in a matter of days is difficult!
We ended up accepting one referral and declining another. How difficult that decision was! Yet we prayed so very much for wisdom and clarity, and felt an absolute peace about our decision.
So, we'll be bringing home one little munchkin instead of two this time. Yes, Chris is already talking about the next time we go over to adopt another one..... we shall see..... Like several of you, we were both ready to go back again, but wisely we'll try to get this one home and adjusted to our family, before we consider that. I will say, we would use our agency again in a heartbeat. Without a doubt they have been communicative, professional, and absolutely first rate!

I think making decisions overseas when you are tired and out of your element is hard too. We are glad you were able to get good insight from the physician you had go to the orphanage. That is a blessing.
Looking forward to hearing more about your time with the munchkin...and the possibility of starting again on a future adoption. Very exciting news!!
I've enjoyed catching up on your last few posts. Sorry things did not go as planned but at least you are at peace with the decision so that is good. I look forward to hearing more about your trip. Roll on court date!
Oh, Jackie- It has been a little while since I checked by your blog!
I have missed so much!!!!!
I can't believe you are there seeing your new child face-to-face!
I think it is so great you are documenting all of this!!
Thank you so much for letting us be a part of such a precious time.
