This and That...Plus a few photos

Traffic- It's crazy! In the circles they make their own lanes. But it was civilized craziness if you can picture that. Not like NY, where you have people ticked off and honking horns. None of that. Russians drive seriously, and pretty much expect someone to make a U-Turn across 5 lanes of traffic. lol!

Smoke- It wasn't as bad as I thought. Our apartment had a smoke smell, and that was awful... and the restaurants had it too. But, outside was just fine.

Apartment- If you can rent an apartment it was the way to go! Much more cost effective, and we were right down on New Arabat Street. We had a beautiful view of the city and also of Christ Church Cathedral. I loved to hang out in our living room looking out at the hustle and bustle of night life on our street.

Starbucks- Thank goodness for that, as the one thing our apartment did not have was a coffee maker. They did have a hot pot for making hot water for instant coffee... Ewww. Starbucks was a taste of home, and Chris would walk there every morning for his breakfast pastry and coffee.... :-)

I'll leave you with a few pictures of places, we visited. I wish I would have gotten a photo of our souvenir shop, but I didn't think of it. I'm looking forward to going back to Old Arabat for a quick shopping expedition. :-)

Glad to hear things went well and the apartment sounded amazing! A motel room for more than 3 days gets really old really quick! I hate I missed out on the sightseeing in Moscow for our 4 days there (I was sick). Would love to go back sometime. God Bless -

I wish we'd tried Moo Moo (I think it is how it is pronounced). We did eat at the Hard Rock and visited on Sunday afternoon during their children's activities. Jumper and clowns.

Enjoyed your posts on your trip.
